So....here is my question of the day. Is it worth continuing with this blog? I feel lately like I post something on here and then just go to facebook and post the same exact thing. I also know that most of the people who comment on here are also on Facebook. I'm not opposed to posting on both if it is a useful way to spend my time. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there reading this, whether on facebook or not, who can give me a reason to keep blogging.

I love to read your posts on your blog, especially when I take breaks from Facebook. Your experience in ministry and as a homeschooling mom lend to longer posts than the abbreviated version available for FB. You do have a lot of offer readers through your blog!
For me, blogging is my "online journal". I write about what's going on in my life and I share resources that have been helpful to me, mainly because I have a difficult time expressing my thoughts. I have enjoyed linking up with other women. My blog began to be viewed by many around the world. I see my blog as a ministry, my gift to the Lord, and that's why I put as much effort into it. Yet, this may sound silly, but I don't want someone to "follow" my blog and have been praying off and on about me following other blogs.
I don't know if that was helpful or muddied the waters, but it's my two cents. I cast a vote for keeping your blog. I enjoy it!
I enjoy your blogs and get a real sense of your love for the Lord here. On Face book it seems that you can't leave as much. I do not check my face book that often. Since I am new to it and probably don't use it to the full extent of it's uses. I could just be doing something wrong. I have thought of doing a blog since moving south so family and friends can keep abreast of what we are doing in our new home. Pray about it and the answer will be there. Blessings!
I also see your blog as part of your ministry. People from all around the world - who don't even know you - can read your blog. It isn't just "friends."
In general, I think people use FB as a way to summarize (in as few words as possible) what is going on. Blogs do seem to be "journals" where people write in more detail and specifics. I think that is what I like the least about FB so far is that you will read one sentence that someone writes and have no idea what the context is.
I personally love your blog - but you gotta do what works for you!!
