I have so much to share but not so much time right now. I promise I will take time to write more soon. For now you have to see the newest walking member of our family! This is still not her primary mode of transportation but she is using it more and more to get around. She now wants nothing to do with her walker! Unfortunately she still isn't quite strong enough to walk completely independently so she still needs her waker for long distances. Just for a frame of reference, I posted the video of her first steps on October 9th! Incredible!

Wow - that's just wonderful news! Look at her go! She looks so happy and proud of herself!
She still seems very stiff; do they expect her to have a normal gait at some point (once she gets more practice, PT, etc.) or is she always expected to be a little off in this regard and/or require the aid of a walker/crutches/etc.?
But hey, you know what? Walking, even with a abnormal gait or aides like crutches/walkers beats immobility any day!
Can't wait to hear your updates!

Both Rob and I watched with tears in our eyes. To think that if she wasn't with you - she would have SPENT HER LIFE inside a crib. And would have died in that same crib. It just brings me to my knees in thankfulness that God sent you over there to go get that little girl... and you did and look at her now!!
How AWSOME is she!!!! WOW!!! Never underestimate that little girl!!!!

I guess that means no more holes in her jeans! :)
WOW! Go Oksana! Thats amazing and so impressive! Alina has the motivation, she just needs the tools to get going! She walks great if she's holding onto your hand and can stand on her own for a bit, she just needs the tools to get going!
I'm so proud of Oksana!
I am soooo amazed at her progress! It literally blows my mind to see her walk like that and it hasn'teven been six months!!! Isn't God wonderful!!
That is incredible! Go Oksana!
