My boys have discovered the song "Jesus Freak" by dc Talk.We may be a bit behind on the times seeing as how it was released in 1995 but apparently it hasn't lost its appeal because it has been listened to over and over again in our house. One day in the car we had been listening to it over and over again for about 20 minutes. I asked the boys if they were still in the car with me since they were being so quiet. I jokingly said "I thought you had turned into Jesus Freaks after listening to that song so much." Clayton replied, "MOOOOOM" (in a very long exaggerated voice like I had lost my mind) "We ARE Jesus Freaks!" Well there you go, what do you say to that?!
About a week later we were in the car again, this time listening to nothing and out of the blue Evan says to himself "Huh, the lyrics to that song are right....my best friend WAS born in a manger!"

Lindy and I used to head bang to Jesus Freak back in the day. :) But then we both got into serious relationships with our now husbands and she decided we should be more adult and stop the head banging. I still enjoy it on occasion though!
Hey, as you well know head banging was our life for many years. My neck can't take it any more! Clayton has definitely developed his dad's love of fast electric guitars!
This is only one of just a few of my all-time favorite songs, ever!
