Anya

A quick update:

Oh this girl.....need I say more?  If there were stubborn awards she would be on the podium.  This picture is from when I told her not to go down the hall.  See how she is technically standing in the hall but not going down it.  That's Anya.  If she doesn't cross the line she is dancing right on it, but quite frankly she usually just crosses the line!

This girl can make me reach levels of frustration I didn't know existed.  How is it then that she is the love of my life?!  I'm sure I couldn't love this girl more if I had given birth to her.  Apparently the feeling is mutual.  She has become quite attached to her mommy.  She must be with me at all times.  Only mommy can put her to bed.  The only time I don't have to be the one putting her to bed is if I'm not home, but if she finds out that I'm leaving without her she pulls out the drama.

Blocking the door when she figured out I was leaving,

She had the whole side of the table but she had to drag her food over to be right next to me.

When she was waiting for dinner she decided to move my chair to her side of the table!

If it isn't mom it's the brothers.  Oh my she adores those boys.  Don't say I told you, but the feeling is quite mutual.  She loves to get their attention and then do something silly to make them laugh.  When she wears new clothes she has to find them to show them and then she says "Cute!".  There are few things she loves more than getting to hang out with her brothers.  This is one of the days she was showing off to them :).

Anya and Oksana both started Upward Cheerleading.  We have only been to one practice.  Let's just say it will be a miracle if I can get them to do anything that looks remotely like a cheer!  They are having fun though and that's all that matters.  I'll be sure to post some pictures and videos when they start cheering at games in January.

Christmas this year involves a lot of Disney Princesses....especially Elsa.  She's also getting some stuff that she is just generally obsessed with, like combs.  Yes, combs.  The girl steals combs constantly and then loses them!  We are always looking for combs.  She has loved to have a comb in her hand almost since she first came home.  This year I'm buying her a pack of them all her own.  She is also getting makeup brushes.  That is another thing I am constantly having to steal back from her.  She loves to brush herself with makeup brushes and paint brushes.

Elsa hanging out under my tree!

She really enjoyed decorating the tree and has amazingly left it alone!

Her brothers sometimes get carried away in their decorating!

A few weeks ago I found a photo album from my childhood.  I never cease to be amazed at how much Anya and I look alike!  Here is a side by side photo of me and Anya both at 7 years old.

It's just crazy!  I wish I could see her bio parents sometime.  That would be so interesting!

That's it for now on the little rascal.  I'll update soon on Oksana.

Thanks for the update! Anya truly is a neat little girl. Too much!Such a rascal, but she's got such charm, too! Love that smile, it lights up a room I'm sure! How nice that she has such a love and admiration for her big brothers, and that they reciprocate.
