365 Day Photo Challenge

Don't miss the update I posted on Oksana right before this.

Days 70-81

A picture Oksana drew me of balloons while she was in the hospital.
I love outside spring pictures!
The challenge for the week was blue :)
Our Apple Pi Pie for Pi Day!
Dinner in the car.  It happens a lot when Oksana is at the hospital and I'm heading out to visiting hours.
I don't even drink but I was at a chocolate bar (that's my kind of bar ;) and I thought this looked cool.

This was also at the chocolate bar.
SPRING!
Oksana at the residential center the day we admitted her.

Evan ready to watch the first Harry Potter movie for the first time.  He was so excited!

Oksana in the sensory room during one of our visits.  Someone called this "hauntingly beautiful".  There were a lot more happier looking pictures I could have used but I thought this one did a good job of capturing her inner turmoil.

He found a quiet place to read :).  He is on Year 6 of the Harry Potter series.

These are all awesomely beautiful!

I love the vibrant colors Oksana used to draw the balloons in the first photo. Anya's smile in the second photo was contagious (love her t-shirt, too)! The blue towels look so soft and warm, and the Pi pie looks delish! Speaking of delish, so looks your dinner on-the-go in the next photo as well! The two chocolate bar photos are so cool; the lighting is just great in both of them. The pink flower fills me with hope (was it as cold by you today as it was here in Jersey? Sheesh!), and seeing Oksana's sweet face just makes me want to hug her nice and tight! The excitement on Evan's face in the next photo is, again, contagious. And the next photo of Oksana? "Hauntingly beautiful" is a phrase that Stevie Nicks uses often in her songwriting, and seeing that phrase in the caption made me think of her. I agree with you that the picture was very good at capturing Oksana's inner turmoil. And last but not least, of course, that IS a great spot to read! I never learned how to climb trees so I never had the pleasure of hiding away in a tree with a book, but it looks like fun!
